About ONF

MISSION: Operation Never Forgotten (ONF) launched during Operation Iraqi Freedom to create national public awareness and appreciation for our deployed troops, veterans, blue and gold-star families, wounded warriors and fallen heroes. ONF campaigns remind civilians of the courage, commitment and sacrifices made by our service members and their families. ONF separates war-from-the-warrior through national advertising using outdoor advertising, airport signs, sports facilities, transit systems, shopping malls and radio broadcast. Musician Lee Greenwood, famous for his patriotic hit God Bless the USA, has joined ONF as their spokesman.

ONF SUPPORTERS: The concept for ONF was first announced in the Rolling Thunder Magazine in 2005. Since then, efforts have been recognized by congressional staff members, all military branches, Multi-National Force - Iraq, other federal agencies and military support organizations. Images for projects have been contributed by Westone Images, Getty Images, DVIDS Hub, DOD, and USMC. Outdoor advertising companies have contributed millions of dollars in outdoor billboard PSAs (public service announcements) across America. Production money is needed for printed billboards, airport signs and other advertising. Any money or volunteer service contribution will be appreciated! Be sure to see our grateful supporters.

OTHER LINKS: When our loved ones are in harm's way, parents, spouses and friends from all religions, races, creeds, geographic locations and economic backgrounds are in need of support and great strength. ONF campaigns help stimulate volunteerism for all military support organizations helping our deployed troops, wounded warriors and families of fallen Heroes. ONF is also a proud member of America Supports You. We endorses many support groups such as: Marine Corps Family Foundation, Marine Parents United, TAPS, Military Connection , and Soldiers' Angels .

FOUNDER: ONF was developed by Marine mother/Navy spouse, photographer and graphic designer Linda Kelly. Both Linda’s son and husband served in Iraq, 2004-2005. Her Corporal Marine son is on his second tour in Iraq scheduled to return by fall of 2008. Linda invites you to email her.
