ONF is operated by professionals who are all volunteers. Some outside professionals such as internet programmers, sound studios technicians, grant writers, publicists… require payment for their services rendered.

After billboards are created by ONF, billboard companies post the designs as public service announcements on their digital displays because there’s no upfront printing required, however there are times we do not have digital markets in the cities we receive requests for homecomings or for gold star family events. In that case, we need to go to print. Backlit signs in the airports are still expensive even after printing at cost.

Dollars contributed to ONF are used for materials, production, outside services, large displays, business cards, handout flyers, printing and postage for our gold star family and wounded warrior recognition cards, and printing of the posters for Carwash Ops (another special ONF project). ONF campaigns are also expanding into transit systems, sports facilities, shopping malls, print ads, radio and television. Overhead grows along with the success of our mission.

ONF has received endless positive feedback over the outdoor billboards by gold star and blue star families, military organizations and by the general public. Choose your favorite billboard to become part of our selection process for the next ONF billboard campaigns.
