Operation Never Forgotten (ONF) is a national 501(c)3 non-partisan volunteer organization that creates awareness campaigns for deployed troops, wounded veterans, fallen heroes and military families. Public Service Announcements (PSAs) are produced by ONF through outdoor billboards, airport signs, mall/food store monitors and TV/radio broadcast. ONF educates the public and military families about PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and TBI (traumatic brain injury)… “Invisible wounds.” ONF’s airport PSAs welcome post 9-11 troops home after serving in Iraq or Afghanistan. ONF is a rehabilitative facilitator providing physical/mental challenges and positive opportunities for injured OEF/OIF (Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom) veterans… through a program based in Montana called "SAS" (Sports, Afield & Stream). Winter and summer SAS events included extreme sports-based activities, adventure-based education, hunting & fishing opportunities, wilderness serenity, animal companionship therapy, mentorship, comradeship, and celebrity entertainment. SAS provides education for caregivers and veterans dealing with PTSD, TBI, physical disabilities and emotional challenges. SAS programs can help at-risk veterans falling into substance abuse, crime and suicide. Veterans and their caregivers build more trust, gain self sufficiency, make better life choices and improved mental/physical health. ONF helps veterans and their caregivers move forward. SEE MORE…
