BEHIND EVERY PICTURE IN A BILLBOARD there’s a story to tell. ONF billboards have become a voice for troops, veterans and their families. BILLBOARD INTEL creates opportunities to share incredible stories about specific service members, fallen heroes, wounded warriors, unclassified missions, events and homecomings. This INTEL project is new to launch. Click here or the button below to read some of our first stories.
TO SUBMIT STORIES email your electronic editorials of any length to info@operationnf.org. Stories need to be non-partisan, unclassified and approved to be published. If your story was published before, you will need approval from the publisher.
TO SUBMIT PHOTOS for billboards, email your digital photos along with your stories. Photos need to be JPEGS at high resolution but no more than 3 megs per photo file. Send no more than 3 megs per email. Should your picture be chosen for a billboard, a proof will be emailed to you for your final approval before posting. For gold star families, see the campaigns at GOLD STAR FAMILY BILLBOARDS to fit the ONF campaign. Please send close-ups on faces, sharply focused, without hard shadows and no more than 2-3 people per photo. Pictures of fallen heroes can be with or without uniform, in any location before or during their service, and posing with a family member or friend.
VIDEOS can also be added to your story. ONF cannot use links to YouTube for viewing your video because after your clip runs, they add videos made by other parties that could create conflict, political views or controversy. You can either provide us with a link to your site if it has private streaming capability, or sign up for your own private Maxcast video streaming service.
Go to MaxCast and click on Sign Up For Maxcast Now! You can then simply upload your videos (and your digital photos) to store and share with friends and family. Send your Maxcast URL link to info@operationnf.org. For further assistance please contact Ron Lively at ron@thelivelygroup.com.
DIGITAL BILLBOARDS RUN randomly and in diverse locations. They are only seen at a glance while rotating with other billboards. ONF works with over 200 billboard markets in most major cities across the country. They all run as electronic PSAs (public service announcements). Because there are limitations as to when your free PSA can run, be sure to tell us the locations of all your family and friends to increase the chances of someone you know seeing your billboard live. We also recommend that you notify the rest of your family about the project.
SIGN A RELEASE. You will need to sign a release before ONF can post your stories and run your billboards. Please print out the release, sign and mail it to: Operation Never Forgotten, 108 North Maple Street, PO Box 132, Saline, MI 48176. Do NOT mail photo prints. Call Linda for any questions at 406-581-8358.
A RESOURCE FOR THE NEWS MEDIA. This INTEL project is a resource for reporters and news stations. Be willing to share your story to the public. Stories along with billboards tell the rest of the story... the true story from and about those who serve our country, and their families who support them.
Images and Audiovisuals are created by and for ONF only and are neither for sale nor allowed to be copied.
