John Kinzinger

Vice President

John got involved with Operation Never Forgotten because he immediately saw the importance ONF messages could be for our troops and their families. He has been active in local Veterans volunteer work for the past 22 years. His passion to help those who have served in our military is a major part of his life. His focus the past 7 years has been the young men and women serving in the war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan. For instance, he led 7 local Support The Troops rallies and continues to be Chairman of our VVA 310 Care package program. Jane J. Kinzinger

Secretary

Jane Kinzinger has extensive executive level office experience and has been secretary on various other committees and volunteered to be Secretary for ONF because of her desire to give back. Her husband, John Kinzinger is a Vietnam Veteran; her two brothers served in the Army and Air Force to fulfill their obligation and she spent 4 years at Wright Patterson A.F.B. with her first husband during the Vietnam era. Ed C. Zurey, Jr.

Treasurer

Retired Captain Ed Zurey is a 31-year veteran of the US Navy, having served for most of his career on destroyers as a Surface Warfare Officer. He participated in Operations Desert Storm while off of Syria, Southern Watch from the North Arabian Gulf, Enduring Freedom in the Indian Ocean and Iraqi Freedom from Kuwait and while assigned to the Multi-National Forces-Iraq headquarters staff in Baghdad READ MORE...

Michael P. Malley concentrates his practice in the areas of franchising, corporate and trademark law and in commercial litigation related to these areas. He received his B.A. degree from Yale University in 1960 and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 1967. Mike served as a 1 st . Lt. in the US Army from 1961 to 1965. Michael Malley


William A. Henderson

Chair Member

General William Henderson is the retired Commander Headquarters Michigan Air National Guard. He began his military career in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served for 10 years as a fighter pilot flying the F-4 Phantom. He served with the 1st Marine Air Wing in Viet Nam flying 125 combat missions, and with the 1 st Marine Division as a Forward Air Controller. Upon his return to the United States he became an F-4 Check Pilot, Instructor Pilot and Amphibious Warfare School graduate. READ MORE...


John Lockwood

Wounded Warrior Campaign Director

John Lockwood enlisted in the Marine Corp Reserves in January 2003 as a field radio operator. John's civilian profession was that of a police officer. In 2006 John was sent to Al Fallujah, Iraq. While conducting combat operations as a turret gunner John was seriously injured by a buried IED. John was retired from the Marine Corp as a Sergeant and has returned to work in the law enforcement field.

In 2008 John joined the Operation Never Forgotten team to spread the word of the sacrifices US service members make. As a service member that suffered from traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), John looks forward to aiding in spreading the word about invisible wounds.


Rick Briggs

Invisible Wound Program Director

Retired Air Force Major Rick Briggs is the Manager of the Veterans Program for the Brain Injury Association of Michigan (BIAMI). Major Briggs is responsible for managing the Program's primary goals of raising TBI awareness among veterans and their families, facilitating a working relationship with the Veterans Administration and the Michigan Department of Military Affairs. The program also has a goal of establishing a public/private partnership and reaching out to private TBI health-care providers for the treatment of returning veterans. READ MORE...


Don Behm

PTSD Advisor

Don Behm was drafted in Jan 1968 and served in Viet Nam as a combat infantryman from June 1968 to June 1969. Don fought with the 82nd airborne which took him from Hue to the Ashau valley and from the tunnels of Cu Chi to the Cambodian Border.

As a wounded warrior of an invisible injury, Don has survived posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Recognition and recovery for Don only began in 1998, and now devotes his life to giving back to veterans with PTSD. READ MORE...

Richard Brown

Chairman

Dick Brown retired after careers working as a metallurgist in a steel mill and then as a materials engineer / quality engineer for Ford Motor Company where he had work assignments in many of the plants of the Company's overseas operations.

He has been involved since Operation Desert Storm and now with Operation Enduring Freedom with groups preparing packages for the deployed troops. Working with ONF gives Dick the satisfaction that he is helping those who have been doing so much for our country. READ MORE...


Marc Hoffmeister

Wounded Warrior Advisor

Lieutenant Colonel Marc Hoffmeister graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and was commissioned in the United States Army in the Corps of Engineers. He has served in a variety of combat engineer units and deployed throughout the Middle East and Cuba in support of combat and humanitarian operations. While serving as an embedded trainer for the Iraqi Army, LTC Hoffmeister planned and executed numerous Battalion and Brigade level combined combat operations targeting insurgent forces in Babil Province, providing direct combat advising to Iraqi commanders from platoon to Brigade level during combat missions and time sensitive raids and developing a joint operational capability between the Iraqi Army and Iraqi Police until he was wounded in an IED attack in April 2007.
