Linda's vision and passion for ONF not only comes from her military family background of having a Marine son and Navy husband, both having served in Iraq, but also because of her love for photography. With a lifetime career as a Creative/Art Director and Photographer, she visualized a way to help connect our civilian and military worlds

Linda's son completed two Iraq combat tours in 2004-05 and 2007-08. Her husband, a recently retired US Navy Surface Warfare Officer Captain served in Baghdad in 2004-05.

Linda has been an avid horsewoman and outdoor recreationalist with a passion for spending time in wilderness places. In 1995-98, Linda volunteered for US Department of the Interior National Biological Service working in the field with elk, moose and bison.

After spending over 10-years packing into Montana’s backcountry, Linda became a guest speaker on back country riding for the 2003 Midwest Horse Fair, Madison, Wisconsin (of over 58,000 spectators). Never once did she take such beautiful country for granted! You can enjoy the beauty of our nation as she does at her wildlife photo gallery.

Before Linda’s Montana lifestyle, she was born, raised and lived in Madison, Wisconsin. She made a lifetime career in advertising after graduating from Madison Area Technical College in 1975 with high honors in commercial art. She won numerous local and national Advertising Federation Design Awards while working for Madison advertising firms and continued to do so after launching her own ad agency through a partnership, SpectraAssociates.

Linda has always devoted time for volunteering. In Madison, she was a registered emergency medical technician for Madison’s MedFlight EMS helicopter program working with our military, Friend in the Sky.

Today, Linda continues her love for horses, labs, wildlife, wilderness and our military!
