Michael P. Malley concentrates his practice in the areas of franchising, corporate and trademark law and in commercial litigation related to these areas. He received his B.A. degree from Yale University in 1960 and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 1967. Mike served as a 1 st . Lt. in the US Army from 1961 to 1965.
Mike has represented a large number of franchisors in the preparation and registration of their franchise disclosure documents and in all other legal aspects concerning the creation and operation of a franchise system. He also represents franchisees and/or franchise associations in connection with franchise related matters. He has also authored a number of articles and presented seminars on franchising on behalf of the International Franchise Association, the American Arbitration Association and various bar and chamber of commerce associations.
Mike is a member of the American Bar Association's Forum Committee on Franchising. He also serves as a commercial arbitrator and mediator in franchise and business disputes for the American Arbitration Association.
